Michael L. Marowitz is a graduate of and former teaching fellow at Stanford Law School. He not only earned an advanced law degree (JSM) from Stanford Law School, but he also received many awards for distinguished academic achievement while attending Golden Gate University School of Law. He was the Editor-in-Chief of the Golden Gate University Law Review 1977-78, authored Comment, Birkenfeld v. City of Berkeley: Blueprint for Rent Control in California, 7 Golden Gate U.L.Rev. 677(1977), received the Best Brief Award at the Roger J. Traynor State Honors Moot Court Competition in 1977(exclusionary zoning), and was the recipient of a scholarship for high academic performance from the San Francisco Lawyers' Wives in 1978.  Mr. Marowitz then served as law clerk for the Honorable Herbert M. Schwab, Chief Judge of the Oregon Court of Appeals between 1978-79, writing draft opinions for Judge Schwab and other members of that court.  He also taught law at three different law schools, including Stanford, before commencing a career that has now spanned almost 40 years of tirelessly applying his knowledge and talent to cases just like yours.
